What mid-century modern party would be complete without a Lazy Susan? Where else would you possibly put your crutites, olives, and other little party veggies and appetizers?
If you're having a swanky cocktail party, serving your martini, Old Fashioned and even the occasional Harvey Wallbanger (for some reason, I can't get the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's" out of my head), you simply must have a retro-look Lazy Susan.
This is a fantastic retro Lazy Susan and it is complete and in absolutely terrific condition! The pottery pieces are done in a faux woodgrain, with a glazed interior in a multi-hued green.
The center bowl (also wood grain with green glazing) comes complete with its cover, handle and even the plastic spoon!
All these pieces rest on a wooden lazy Susan base, which still turns nicely.
To make this an even greater find, it comes with its original box, including the original cardboard inserts.
The piece is in fantastic condition...no chips, dings, or cracks anywhere. It looks "factory fresh" despite its 50+ year age! Believe me, you will not be disappointed in this piece, and it could easily become a prime part of your vintage, retro or mid-century modern decor.
The entire set measures approximately 15" wide.
(Regarding packing: Although the item still has its original box, I won't count on that box alone for shipping your new Lazy Susan. Each piece will be further wrapped and protected for shipping, and an additional outside box will be used to ship the entire item.)
